In a disturbing case emerging from Hyderabad, a 27-year-old supervisor at a juvenile home has been accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy, according to Saidabad police. The young victim revealed the ordeal to his mother during a holiday break, prompting her to file a complaint leading to the supervisor's arrest.
Authorities report the boy, who left the Saidabad Juvenile Home for Dussehra holidays, was apprehensive about returning and subsequently disclosed the assault. Police have taken the suspect into custody as investigations continue into the allegations of abuse within the facility.
In a separate incident, the Telangana district was rocked by the suicide of a 20-year-old student, allegedly due to harassment by her volleyball coach. Identified as Mounika, the student took her life on October 9. As suspicions loom over the coach, identified as Ambaji, police are probing claims of harassment linked to love affairs, although no suicide note has been retrieved.
