The victim, Pangi Sushanth from the Araku Valley Sports School, was attacked while the assailant disappeared promptly from the scene. His classmates rushed him to Araku Area Hospital, where he remains in a critical state.

Local authorities, including Circle Inspector Himagiri and Sub-Inspector Gopala Rao, promptly arrived at the scene, launching a full investigation. A school teacher's statement has been recorded, while police have registered a case, forming teams to track down the attacker, according to Sub-Inspector Gopala Rao.
