The State Bank of India (SBI) has been awarded two prestigious accolades from Global Finance during the World Bank/IMF annual meetings held in New York. The largest lender in India received the titles of 'World's Best Consumer Bank 2025' and 'Best Bank in India 2025'.

This recognition underscores SBI's leadership in the global banking sector, showcasing its dedication to innovation, financial inclusivity, and customer satisfaction. In a statement, SBI Chairman C S Setty praised the bank's efforts in digital transformation, serving a vast customer base of 520 million people, with 65,000 new customers joining daily.
