In a recent directive, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari called on District Information Officers to devise a robust communication strategy, underlining the need for professional efficiency in broadcasting the government's public welfare programs and initiatives to every citizen. Tiwari emphasized seamless media coordination to address journalists' concerns swiftly.
During a meeting at the Directorate of Information, Tiwari stressed prioritizing the effective promotion of state government's welfare schemes. He advocated for clear, prompt communication of all scheme-related information, urging the use of social media and publication of success stories to ensure transparent and positive dissemination while avoiding unverified data.
DG Tiwari also instructed the preparation of SOPs for event coverage and timely task completion regarding the Press Service Portal. He assured that efforts are underway to bolster departmental operations, including structural reforms and staffing, ensuring no budget constraints for official activities while enhancing departmental efficiency.
