French President Emmanuel Macron announced plans to visit London on Monday to engage in critical discussions with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, and leaders from the UK and Germany regarding the ongoing situation in Ukraine. The meeting aims to strengthen diplomatic efforts initiated under U.S. mediation.

On the social media platform X, Macron emphasized France's unwavering support for Ukraine, highlighting the necessity of security guarantees to achieve lasting peace across Europe. He condemned recent strikes on Ukraine's energy and rail infrastructure, underscoring the importance of international pressure to encourage Russia towards peace.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported that Ukraine's military activities disrupted the electricity grid, affecting the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant's off-site power. IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi noted the temporary power loss, stressing the incident's impact on the region's nuclear facilities.
