Tripura's Historic Tee-off: Inaugural Golf Tournament Sparks New Era

The inaugural Tripura Open Golf Tournament marked its place in history as the state's first national-level golf event, hosted at Tusker BSF Golf Course during the 2025 Bharat Golf Mahotsava. Distinguished guests, including the Governor of Tripura and Chief Minister Saha, attended the landmark event in Agartala.

Esteemed figures like Tinku Roy, Tripura's Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, and Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, BSF Inspector General, joined the celebrations along with dignitaries from the administration. The presence of golf enthusiasts, army personnel, and security forces further underscored the event's significance.

Chief Minister Saha commended the efforts to maintain the picturesque golf course, pointing out its lush greenery and scenic landscapes that contribute to making Tripura an emerging hub for golf tourism and adventure sports like paragliding and water sports.
