Bai Tianhui, once the general manager of China Huarong International Holdings, has faced execution after being convicted of accepting bribes totaling 1.1 billion yuan, according to CCTV.
This took place following a court's decision in Tianjin, where Bai was handed the death penalty earlier in May 2024.
