A fire erupted early Wednesday morning at the residence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi, authorities announced. The Delhi Fire Department reported dispatching three fire engines and a forensic team to the location, successfully containing the blaze without any damage.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined as investigations continue. This incident occurs shortly after a massive blaze swept through a plastic and polythene warehouse near the Kapashera-Rajokri border in the national capital last week, affecting nearby slum areas.
Fire services were alerted to the latest incident around 4:30 AM, promptly deploying teams to manage the situation. According to fire officials, 24 tenders were employed to subdue the prior warehouse fire, ultimately bringing it under control after significant efforts.
