This financing is part of a larger 5 billion euro macro-financial assistance package aimed at supporting Egypt's economic stability and growth.
The first tranche was received in January 2025, marking a deepening of economic ties between Egypt and the EU. As of the current exchange rate, 1 euro equals approximately 0.8593 US dollars.
