In a recent conference held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel called for district collectors to create a more effective district-level governance system, stressing the importance of resolving local issues with empathy and transparency.
He emphasized that public trust can be built through understanding and addressing the concerns of citizens, thus avoiding unnecessary escalations to higher government levels. Patel also highlighted natural farming as a priority, urging collectors to promote it within their districts as part of a broader mission for a healthier lifestyle.
The conference also focused on financial stewardship, the resolution of pending issues, and the need for consistency in the interpretation of government directives. Discussions covered a wide array of governance topics, including property card distribution under the Swamitva Yojana and improvements to online feedback mechanisms.
