Jupiter International has landed a lucrative contract worth Rs 65 crore for the supply of solar pumps, courtesy of the Maharashtra government's Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.
This initiative by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) seeks to enhance irrigation infrastructure in the state's off-grid areas. It particularly targets small and marginal farmers, offering sustainable solutions through solar technology.
The Kolkata-based company's recent announcement on Monday confirmed the official Letter of Empanelment received from MSEDCL, authorizing them to manufacture, supply, and maintain solar photovoltaic water pumping systems under the program.
