The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has taken significant steps towards organizational strengthening with a crucial meeting conducted by General Secretary KC Venugopal at Indira Bhawan. The gathering included General Secretaries, In-charges, and PCC Presidents from the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan states.
Venugopal has instructed Pradesh Congress Committees to finalize District Congress Committees within 15 days, Block Committees within 30 days, and Mandal, Gram Panchayat, and Booth Level Committees within two months. These directions aim to ensure comprehensive representation for SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities, coupled with training sessions at both district and block levels.
Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan has already seen the appointment of DCC Presidents in 14 states, covering 525 DCCs. Six more states are set to begin the process. Venugopal underscored the centrality of the SSA in building a dynamic, people-focused organization. Meanwhile, Congress leaders have echoed the strategic focus on growth and inclusivity in recent meetings.
