Rajasthan State Gas Ltd is venturing into a sustainable future, embracing liquefied natural gas, electric vehicles, and compressed biogas initiatives, according to an official announcement on Tuesday.
The company's Principal Secretary (Mines) and Chairman, T Ravikant, outlined the expansion plans as part of the state's green energy strategy, with the first LNG plant under development in Neemrana. In a recent Board of Directors meeting, Ravikant highlighted the supply of CBG on a pilot basis in Kota while exploring potential LNG stations in Jaipur, Kota, and along expressways, alongside an EV charging network.
Managing Director Ranveer Singh emphasized the benefits of the LNG plant for long-haul vehicles, mining, and industrial sectors. The meeting, attended by Rajasthan's Finance Secretary and GAIL Gas representatives, focused on ensuring the availability of affordable, clean energy for citizens.
