In a post on X, he stated, "Intelligence, rationality, and decision-making make science and technology useful to the masses." The summit focuses on AI's public interest applications and fostering collaborative solutions globally.
Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, remarking on the remarkable potential of AI and Indian ingenuity. "The event showcases AI innovation and talent, positioning India as a significant player globally," he noted. The summit assembles aspirants, providing insights into AI's abilities and Indian contributions. On X, he commented, "Together, we aim to craft solutions for India and the world."
The summit, a first in the Global South, draws over 20 Heads of State, 60 Ministers, and 500 esteemed AI figures. Mukesh Aghi, President & CEO, praised India's leadership in democratizing AI, highlighting its scalability and accessibility, and underscored India's broad database to support AI advancements. He emphasized, "India sets a precedent for the global South in tech infrastructure." This global event encourages actionable AI conversations under the IndiaAI Mission.
