In a tragic incident on Wednesday, six individuals lost their lives in a fire that erupted in a residential building in Sadh Nagar, Palam. Delhi Police and fire officials reported the blaze, believed to have been sparked by a short-circuit.

Witnesses and residents noted that the fire ignited at approximately 6 AM, rapidly engulfing the premises. Despite residents' quick alert to emergency services, nearly 40-minute delays in fire brigade response exacerbated the situation. Equipment malfunctions hindered rescue operations further, according to local resident Raghunandan Sharma.

The Delhi Fire Services dispatched around 30 fire brigades to tackle the inferno, while the community is left grappling with the aftermath of this tragic event. Authorities are investigating the incident further to gather more details.
