In a heated assembly session on Monday, BRS leader Harish Rao sharply criticized Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for failing to provide clear timelines regarding crucial demands such as pending Dearness Allowances (DAs), Pay Revision Commission (PRC), and Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). Rao expressed disappointment saying, "Bhatti Garu has not given a direct answer to any of the questions we asked."

Rao went further to accuse the government of shifting blame onto the previous administration, over two years into their tenure, without giving direct answers on implementing these key benefits. He questioned, "By when will you give the five DAs? By when will you implement the PRC? By when will you implement the CPS?" He noted that during the BRS tenure, 88,000 retired employees received their pension benefits without delay.

The BRS party did not limit their protest to the Assembly. Leaders, including MLA KP Vivekanand Goud, demonstrated near Gunpark in Hyderabad demanding the government immediately release Rs 12,000 crore in pending student fee reimbursements. Goud emphasized that the delays have severely impacted poor and minority communities, calling for urgent action in the ongoing budget session to secure the future of these students.
