Responding quickly, fire tenders arrived at the scene, battling intense conditions to control the wildfire. Eyewitnesses reported that strong winds exacerbated the situation, causing the fire to spread rapidly and engulf several machines. Of the three composting units affected, two were completely gutted, resulting in significant financial losses and heavy smoke spreading across the area, creating further inconvenience for residents.
Fire brigade driver Sumer Singh confirmed they managed to control the situation in time, averting a potential catastrophe. While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, authorities have launched an investigation to uncover its origin.
