Iran is weighing the possibility of participating in peace talks with the United States, facilitated by Pakistan, a senior Iranian official revealed to Reuters on Monday.

The talks are made possible by Islamabad's efforts to lift the U.S. blockade of Iran's ports, a significant hurdle to Tehran's return to peace negotiations.

Despite this, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi emphasized that ongoing U.S. ceasefire violations are a key roadblock to diplomatic progress.
