In a dramatic turn of events, a fire broke out in a Chartered Accountant's office near the La Plus building in Hazratganj, leaving a trail of damage to computer systems and electronic equipment, as confirmed by officials on Saturday. Swift action by fire tenders brought the situation under control swiftly.

Hazratganj Fire Safety Officer Ram Kumar Rawat reported receiving information about the blaze through the Fire Service control room. He indicated that upon arrival, the teams discovered two rooms on the first floor engulfed in flames, likely due to an electric circuit malfunction. Fortunately, there were no injuries, although the office suffered considerable damage to its computers and other essential equipment.

Meanwhile, a separate incident on Friday saw a significant fire erupt at a factory in Kanpur's Rakhi Mandi area. Chief Fire Officer Deepak Sharma revealed that this fire, requiring immediate response, prompted multiple fire vehicles from nearby stations to the scene. As strategic firefighting operations unfolded, the main objective was to ensure the evacuation of nearby premises, ensuring no casualties occurred. The operation brought the fire under control with significant resource deployment, keeping the safety measures intact.
