Ajay Rai, President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, was hospitalized in Lucknow after falling seriously ill. Ajay Rai, the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, was rushed to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow on Friday evening following a sudden illness. As of now, medical professionals have reported a significant improvement in his condition.

The 56-year-old was admitted to the hospital's Emergency Department at around 6:30 PM in an unconscious state. Doctors diagnosed him with hyponatremia, a condition characterized by low sodium levels in the blood, according to a medical bulletin from Medanta Hospital shared by the UP Congress Committee on X.

Rai is under the care of Dr. Dilip and his team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where his sodium levels have been stabilized. Colleagues, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, have extended their best wishes for Rai's health, emphasizing the entire party's prayers for his rapid recovery and return to public service.
