Police reports revealed that the young man ascended the 145-foot tower in Khapro village around 8 am, demanding his marriage be arranged with the woman he loved. His emotional plea came after her family arranged her marriage to someone else.
After eight tense hours, officers and Ansari's family convinced him to descend safely. The incident underscores issues surrounding love, societal pressures, and arranged marriages.
