Silicon Road Ventures Launches India-Focused Fund to Boost B2B Commerce Tech
Silicon Road Ventures has introduced a new India-focused venture fund aimed at early-stage startups in B2B commerce technology. With a target corpus of INR 150 Crores, the fund will invest in AI-driven solutions to enhance digital transformation, with additional support for US market entry.
Silicon Road Ventures (SRV), based in Atlanta, has unveiled a new venture fund targeting early-stage startups in India. Structured as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund, the initiative is sanctioned by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and aims to raise INR 150 Crores.
The fund's focus is on companies developing Agentic AI solutions for B2B commerce technology, enhancing digital transformation and operational efficiency for retailers, brands, manufacturers, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) firms. It emphasizes multi-channel commerce, supply chain logistics, fintech, consumer insights, and retail operations.
In addition to its India-centric investments, SRV offers startups access to the US market, fostering opportunities for leadership and infrastructural growth. Led by founder Sid Mookerji, who also operates the Silver Spirit Global LLC Family Office, the venture builds on sector-focused expertise in retail technology and aims to empower startups with market access and cross-border scaling strategies.
