Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his congratulations to Haldwani student Arina Raghuvanshi for her remarkable achievement of securing the top position in the state's CBSE Class XII examinations with an impressive 98.8% score. The Chief Minister praised Arina's dedication and encouraged her to continue excelling in her future academic endeavors.

In a telephone conversation, Dhami expressed his delight at Arina's aspirations to pursue a career in law and wished her the best as she aims to represent India at international platforms like the United Nations or UNESCO. He assured her of continued support and agreed to meet her in the near future.

The CBSE announced its Class XII results on May 13, reporting an 85.2% overall pass rate, a decline from last year's 88.39%. Girls surpassed boys in performance, achieving an 88.86% pass rate compared to 82.13% for boys. Notably, transgender students reached a 100% pass rate, and the board conducted a full-scale digital evaluation of 98,66,622 answer sheets in its largest on-screen marking initiative yet.
