In a significant legal development, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has declared the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar district a temple, sparking enhanced security measures. Authorities have deployed over a thousand personnel and utilized CCTV and drones to prevent any disturbances in the region. This follows increased tensions surrounding the site's religious significance.
Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Dawar emphasized that the primary goal of continuous flag marches is to instill confidence within the community and avert any potential incidents. 'We aim to maintain peace and order through extensive monitoring. Any breach of law will face severe consequences,' Dawar stated.
Ashok Kumar Jain from the Bhoj Utsav Samiti expressed elation over the court's decision, viewing it as a victory for the Hindu community's long-standing efforts. The verdict has also sparked discussion about land allocation for a mosque, highlighting the sensitive balance of religious interests in the area.
