In a nod to future administrative excellence, eight probationary officers from the 2025 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) batch, assigned to the Gujarat cadre, met Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The officers have recently completed their foundation training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie and are now designated as Additional Assistant Collectors undergoing district training for 52 weeks across various locations in Gujarat.

Enhancing their administrative acumen further, the officers will undergo specialized training focusing on public health, governance, law enforcement, and regional economic initiatives. Their briefing session, which also emphasized societal betterment, is currently ongoing at the Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) in Ahmedabad, set to conclude soon.

Concurrently, in a different but equally significant stride for the state, Chief Minister Patel endorsed the inauguration of an Incubation and Innovation Centre at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Gandhinagar. This initiative aims to propel Gujarat to the forefront of global design and creativity, celebrating India's innovative spirit under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
