On the 66th Gujarat Foundation Day, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended heartfelt greetings to Gujaratis worldwide, according to the Chief Minister's office. In his message, Patel attributed the state's development to leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel and underscored Gujarat's journey from a region with doubts about its potential to a development model.

Patel contrasted Gujarat's progress since 2001, emphasizing visionary leadership by PM Narendra Modi. Under Modi's guidance, Gujarat has become a center of development, earning the trust of its people and creating a sustained growth trajectory. This trust was further validated in recent local elections.

Highlighting infrastructure achievements, Patel mentioned significant developments in essential services and electricity supply. The 'Jyotigram Yojana' provides uninterrupted power, while an integrated grid network has been established. Gujarat, declared the 'Urban Development Year' in 2025, aims for urban growth, increasing investments, and attracting industries through the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
