NIA Uncovers Juvenile Espionage Ring, Pakistani Terror Links

The National Investigation Agency has filed a report against five juveniles involved in a Pakistan-linked espionage conspiracy in India. The juveniles allegedly helped Pakistani terrorists acquire sensitive data from key sites. A total of 21 individuals have been arrested, with ongoing investigations into additional suspects.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has unveiled a significant development in its probe into a Pakistan-linked espionage operation. On Monday, it filed a detailed investigation report against five juveniles accused of conspiring to spy on sensitive Indian locations, aiming to compromise the nation's security.

The Ghaziabad case, initially registered by local police in March 2026, has so far led to the arrest of 21 individuals. The charges revolve around installing solar-powered cameras at critical railway stations and providing live feeds to suspected Pakistan-based terrorists. NIA's investigation revealed that the juveniles played a role in aiding terrorist activities by transmitting sensitive information, including geotagged photographs.

In another development, the NIA has charged five individuals, including a fugitive mastermind, in connection with a human trafficking and cyber slavery case in Cambodia. The accused allegedly lured young Indians to Cambodia under false job promises, marking a significant breakthrough in an organized trafficking operation.
