Mahindra & Mahindra signs pact with DBS Bank India for green dealer financing programme
Mahindra & Mahindra has partnered with DBS Bank India to launch a sustainability-linked dealer financing programme, promoting environmentally friendly business practices among its dealerships.
Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday signed an initial pact with DBS Bank India to launch a sustainability-linked dealer financing programme to incentivise authorised M&M dealers to adopt sustainable business practices.
Under the collaboration, the private lender would offer M&M customers favourable interest rates on loans for the purchase of passenger and commercial vehicles, according to a release.
The framework sets clear environmental performance criteria to assess dealerships on parameters such as public EV charging facilities, eSUV sales, greenhouse gas emissions, water use, rainwater harvesting, among others, in line with M&M's Green Dealership Programme requirements, the automobile maker said.
