Earthquake of magnitude 5.93 strikes near coast of Peru, GFZ says

​A ‌magnitude 5.9 ​earthquake ‌struck near the coast ‌of Peru ‌on Tuesday, ⁠the ​German ⁠Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) ⁠said.

The ​quake was at ⁠a ⁠depth ​of 10 ⁠km (6.21 miles), ⁠GFZ said.
