Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna public sector enterprise under Coal India Limited, has unveiled its logo, marking a milestone in the company's journey towards modernisation and strengthened corporate branding.
Established in 1975 and headquartered in Nagpur, WCL has been playing a key role in meeting the country's energy requirements through coal production across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
WCL, in a statement, said the newly-launched logo has been conceptualized and designed by its multimedia communications team, and it reflects the company's transformation, innovation, progress and a forward-looking vision.
The new logo represents not only its rich legacy in coal mining but also its commitment towards innovation, sustainability and responsible growth in the years ahead, WCL said, adding that the move would strengthen its visual identity and foster a renewed sense of unity and pride among employees and stakeholders.
