Intense Operation Sheruwali Fights Terror in Rajouri's Dense Forests

A joint operation by Indian security forces in the forests of Rajouri's Manjakote sector has reached its seventh day, targeting suspected militants. Friday marked the seventh day of the mission, which was initiated following intelligence reports about militants in the area.

On Thursday, the operation escalated as heavy gunfire and shelling erupted in Rajouri's Dorimal forest. Security forces tightened their cordon in a bid to neutralize the suspected militants hiding in the dense terrain. To ensure an 'impenetrable cordon,' additional security personnel and logistic support have been deployed to the operation site.

Authorities reported the operation is being conducted on a large scale with a strong emphasis on neutralizing the militants. Surveillance remains heightened across the area, as security forces continue searching and combing through the forest. The mission reflects a significant counter-terrorism effort in the region.
