Rohit Pawar's Symbolic Protest Demands Investigation in Ajit Pawar Crash Case

Rohit Pawar, Nationalist Congress Party MLA, staged a symbolic protest outside the Maharashtra CID office, criticizing the lack of a thorough investigation into the plane crash that killed former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Alleging conspiracy, he urged a probe by central agencies citing potential misconduct by VSR Ventures.

Rohit Pawar, a member of the Nationalist Congress Party and grandson of Sharadchandra Pawar, made a bold statement on Friday by staging a symbolic protest outside the Maharashtra Crime Investigation Department (CID) office in Pune. He arrived wielding a lock and heavy metal chain, illustrating his dissatisfaction with the ongoing investigation into the plane crash that claimed the life of former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Pawar criticized the investigation process, asserting that it had not been effectively undertaken by any central agency. He claimed this symbolic act was meant to shed light on what he perceived as inaction by these investigative bodies and the misuse of public resources. Rohit Pawar voiced significant concerns about potential misconduct by the aircraft's operator, VSR Ventures Pvt Ltd, which he suspects is being protected by influential authorities.

Despite Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's earlier appeal to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah for a comprehensive investigation, Pawar demanded a deeper probe. He emphasized the need for clarity on several issues, including the safety and maintenance records of the aircraft operator, discrepancies in flight data, and regulatory compliance, hoping to bring justice for Ajit Pawar and the other victims of the tragic incident.
