Meanwhile, ahead of Karnataka's new CM election, party discussions intensified with top Congress leaders congregating at Mallikarjun Kharge's residence amidst leadership transitions.

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, was seen engaging personally with auto-rickshaw drivers in Delhi on Friday. Striking a chord with the drivers, Gandhi donned their uniform and interacted on matters concerning their livelihoods, insurance, and welfare.

In a candid move, Gandhi shared a meal with the drivers, which one driver described as 'informal and unexpected.' Speaking to ANI, the driver asserted that Gandhi assured them he would spotlight their issues in Parliament, offering pledges of advocacy and support.

Concurrently, amid crucial organizational discussions anticipating Karnataka's new Chief Minister, Gandhi joined Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's Delhi meeting. The leadership's focus also included Andhra Pradesh Congress dynamics, with Gandhi and YS Sharmila engaging in strategic talks as part of the party's ongoing internal consultations.
