The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Bhopal, Adarshkant Shukla, revealed the details, stating that the complainant, Roshni Ahirwar, reported the crime after being attacked alongside her sister, who had been living at her parental home due to growing tensions with Akshay Chandel, her live-in partner.
The police have swiftly registered an FIR under section 110 of the Bhartiya Nyay Sahita and other relevant charges. Efforts are intensifying to locate and apprehend Chandel, who is on the run following the violent encounter, according to DCP Shukla.
