A tragic incident unfolded at the Jewar Airport flyover construction site in Faridabad when a crane overturned due to adverse weather conditions, according to local officials. Several workers were impacted as the construction site quickly turned into a scene of rescue operations.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Pratik Agrawal of Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, reported that the crane, mounted on a container, unexpectedly crashed onto the container. This mishap led to a significant rescue effort to save those trapped inside.

Agrawal confirmed that out of the four workers inside the container, one has been rescued alive, although injured, while three others were recovered deceased by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team stationed on site. An investigation into the cause and details of the accident is currently underway to prevent future occurrences.
