Despite not securing a cabinet position, Rao, who served as the Minister of Health under the previous Siddaramaiah government, remains content with his past contributions.
The latest cabinet assignments have been strategically distributed among 13 ministers, including key roles for Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, who has taken on Revenue and Sports. Priyank Kharge steps into Home, IT & BT, and e-Governance, while Satish Jarkiholi, KJ George, and others undertake significant responsibilities.
Portfolios across vital sectors such as Energy, Tourism, Urban Development, and Education have been allocated to seasoned politicians to ensure focused governance.
