Uttarakhand CM Celebrates Poetry and Agriculture Initiative
Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hailed poets as societal visionaries at the annual Abhivyanjana 5.0 convention, emphasizing their role in inspiring change. Concurrently, he launched the 'Save the Fields Campaign', transforming it into a public movement focused on sustainable agriculture amidst climate challenges, supported by a Rs 200 crore budget.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hailed poets as societal visionaries during his appearance at the Abhivyanjana 5.0 convention. Held annually, the national literary and poetry event was a platform for Dhami to emphasize the important role poets play in guiding society and inspiring progress.
Addressing the gathering, Dhami noted that poets transcend mere wordsmithing to become mirrors reflecting societal complexities. He applauded their efforts to chart a new path for society, fostering positive change through their influential works. The three-day convention took place in Dhanpur Dhamola, Kaladhungi, Nainital.
In a separate initiative, Dhami launched a state-level 'Save the Fields Campaign' at Hawalbagh, making a significant stride in protecting agriculture from climate change effects. Describing it as a movement bolstered by public participation, he encouraged farmers to safeguard their land and adopt sustainable practices. The government has allocated Rs 200 crore to spur farmers' income amid these efforts.
