Jehanabad Shooting: Police Form Special Investigation Team to Catch Assailants

A man was shot in Jehanabad's Nisarpura village, seriously injuring him. The police have formed a Special Investigation Team to apprehend the suspects. With several suspects identified, raids are ongoing. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital.

A shooting incident in Bihar's Jehanabad district has left a man, identified as Munna Kumar Singh, seriously injured, police reported on Sunday. Authorities have swiftly taken action by forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to track down the perpetrators.

Jehanabad Superintendent of Police (SP) Aparajit Lohan informed that the police acted promptly after being alerted to the gunfire in Nisarpura village. They ensured that Singh received immediate medical care, transporting him initially to a local hospital before referring him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for further treatment.

SP Lohan stated that formal legal procedures will proceed post-receipt of a complaint from the victim's family. Preliminary investigations and inquiries have identified several suspects linked to the shooting, prompting police to conduct raids in pursuit of the accused. Officials are also working to uncover the motive and reconstruct the events leading up to the attack.
