A tragic bus accident on NH-19 in Aurangabad District has left at least three dead and 20 injured after a collision on Sunday night. The tourist bus was en route from Bodh Gaya to Kashi, carrying pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh, when it struck a truck-trailer near Bhavani Hotel. Eyewitnesses reported an overtaking attempt preceding the crash. Seven to eight passengers remain critically injured. Authorities are investigating the crash's cause.

In another incident, a massive fire erupted in a petrol pump godown in Bihar's Buxar District, destroying several vehicles and causing substantial financial damage. Despite no reported injuries, officials found the establishment in breach of safety protocols. The fire's origin was reported at 7:40 PM, leading to the deployment of five fire tenders to extinguish the blaze. The godown's stock of industrial lubricants and proximity to a plywood store complicated containment efforts, resulting in immense smoke and property damage.

Fire Officer Satyadev Singh told ANI that initial and subsequent firefighting efforts were crucial in preventing the main fuel dispensers from igniting, avoiding a potential disaster. Despite the swift response, the fire gutted four vehicles entirely and partially damaged others. Investigations continue to assess safety violations and mitigate future risks.
