A significant fire erupted at a tyre manufacturing plant in the Rajendra Nagar area of Ghaziabad early Tuesday morning, initiating an immediate emergency response from local fire services. The Sahibabad Fire Station was alerted around 7:30 a.m., prompting the rapid dispatch of fire tenders to curb the flames.
Rahul Pal, Chief Fire Officer, confirmed that the fire had been effectively managed and extinguished, with four fire trucks mobilized for the operation. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. This incident follows another fire last week at SK Homes Avantika in Ghaziabad, where an early morning blaze confined residents and led to the deaths of three dogs due to smoke inhalation.
Upon receiving the alert, emergency services swiftly deployed two fire tenders to the scene of the SK Homes Avantika blaze. CFO Rahul Pal noted the ground-level efforts to combat the fire, alongside ladder-assisted rescues. Immediate actions were crucial in averting further tragedy, though the loss of three dogs highlighted the danger of the incident.
