The small village of Bawaria in Bihar's Jehanabad district is enveloped in sorrow following the tragic demise of Indian Air Force pilot, Flight Lieutenant Shubham Kumar. Kumar was among the five personnel who perished in the AN-32 aircraft crash at Jorhat Air Force Station in Assam.

Shubham Kumar, known for his dedication and bravery, was the sole breadwinner for his family. His death not only leaves his family heartbroken but also shrouds the entire village in grief. As family and friends gather, they recall the young pilot's aspirations, including his forthcoming marriage, now left unfulfilled.

The IAF expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families, honoring the personnel with full military rites. The remains of the servicemen, including Kumar, are being returned to their hometowns for their last rites, amidst tributes for their supreme sacrifice while serving the nation.
