Speaking to ANI, Nidhi expressed the family's agony, lamenting that they have been left devastated since the incident. She demanded that the punishment meted out to the perpetrators be as severe as the loss inflicted on her family. Meanwhile, Vinod Kumar's brother, Rajesh, accused the police of pressuring them into hastily completing legal formalities.

Rajesh shared concerns about the police's initial response, stating that they assured the family of quick results after filing an FIR. Despite reservations, the FIR was lodged at night, and further complaints have been made regarding the police's continuous pressuring tactics. Allegations include the failure to properly address the family's grievances and potential political interference in the case.

The family's demand for justice has received support from surrounding villages, amplifying their call for accountability. Rajesh's accusations against the police indicate a growing distrust and dissatisfaction with local authorities' conduct in handling the matter.
