Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the launch of commercial operations at Noida International Airport as a milestone for Western Uttar Pradesh, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and India's aviation sector. He attributed the success to farmers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the harmonious cooperation and timely execution behind the ambitious project.

Reflecting on the airport's early phases, Adityanath recalled setting strict timelines for the land acquisition process, which faced initial resistance. He shared how engaging dialogue with nearly 100 farmers helped overcome challenges, turning their lands into a 'foundation for a new future.' His address underscored the transformation of Jewar from a crime-affected region into an emerging development hub.

The Chief Minister highlighted the new airport's potential to enhance cargo facilities, aircraft maintenance, and global connectivity, reducing India's reliance on foreign transit points. He also detailed upcoming infrastructure projects, such as a Tata Centre of Excellence and various educational and sports facilities, designed to train youth for future opportunities in aviation and industry.
