The Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress orchestrated a massive protest in Agartala on Monday, addressing various public concerns, notably alleged irregularities in the NEET exam. The demonstration saw a substantial turnout of party workers and supporters, with senior Congress figures, including state-level leaders, in attendance.

Conducted peacefully, the protest featured participants wielding placards and chanting slogans to voice their demands under the Youth Congress leadership. Party officials vowed to continue championing causes affecting students and the general public. Earlier protests on June 6 in Chitradurga echoed similar grievances regarding the NEET-UG exam, led by NSUI's National President Vinod Jakhar and other prominent leaders.

Participants demanded accountability from educational authorities, condemning what they described as a compromised future for over 22 lakh NEET aspirants. They called for the immediate resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a thorough investigation into the alleged malpractices. The NSUI pledged to escalate protests nationwide to achieve 'absolute justice and transparency.'
