In a significant political development, Shiv Sena MLC Krupal Tumane announced that negotiations with seven MPs from Shiv Sena (UBT) under the banner of 'Operation Tiger' have progressed to an advanced stage. Tumane expressed anticipation of these MPs defecting to the Eknath Shinde-led faction before the forthcoming monsoon session of Parliament.
Tumane drew parallels between the political maneuvering and a medical procedure, stating, "Much like a medical operation, where preliminary investigations precede the final procedure, our discussions are nearly complete. We await just the finalization of the transition date." He assured that this move is expected imminently, citing ongoing deliberations for weeks now reaching their conclusion.
However, Shiv Sena (UBT) has refuted these claims. MP Sanjay Raut condemned the speculation around 'Operation Tiger,' insisting that the party remains "intact, united, and strong." In response, UBT Sena announced its retaliatory initiative, 'Operation Wolf,' intending to maintain its political stronghold and assure unity among its members.
