Watch: Huge fire breaks out at ExxonMobil facility in Baytown - report

A huge fire has broken out at ExxonMobil facility in Baytown city of Texas, according to KHOU 11 News Houston. It has been reported that thick black smoke can be seen rising up with flames going high. The facility has issued a shelter in place west of the plant and south of 330. Shelter-in-place means to stay indoors, keep doors and windows closed and turn off the air conditioning.

The ExxonMobil Baytown Area posted on its Twitter account that the "emergency response teams have responded to a fire at our ExxonMobil Baytown Complex. As a precaution, our Industrial Hygiene staff will conduct air quality monitoring around the complex and in the community."

ExxonMobil's fire teams are working to extinguish the fire. The company is also conducting personnel accounting. In a statement, ExxonMobil said their "first priority remains the safety of people, including [their] employees, contractors, and the surrounding community."
