20 Taliban terrorists killed in different parts of Afghanistan

20 Taliban terrorists have been killed in different parts of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Afghanistan announced on its Twitter account. 19 terrorists were killed by the security forces whereas one terrorist was killed by own bomb blast when he along with his companion was trying to plant a roadside bomb in Chopan Zai region, Arghistan District of Kandahar. His colleague was wounded and Afghan National Police (ANP) seized one motorcycle and four roadside bombs from the scene.

The Ministry also reported that four Taliban terrorists were killed and four others injured during a clearance operation carried out by General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) in Guzara District of Herat. During the operation, GCPSU seized 31 motorcycles and some amount of military equipment. In the meantime, four Taliban terrorists were killed and four others injured in a clash with Afghan National Police (ANP) in the vicinity of the Sar-e-Pul.

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) killed two Taliban terrorists and destroyed six Taliban hideouts in a joint clearance operation in Marjah District of Helmand.12 various types of roadside bombs were also detected by ANDSF.
Nine Taliban terrorists were also killed and 10 others were injured in a joint clearance operation carried out by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in the vicinity of the Ghor. Several villages of Ghor have been cleared of terrorists.
