Watch: Huge fire at warehouse in Oakland with thick black smoke rising

A huge fire has broken out at a warehouse in Oakland County at East 11th and 25 Avenue, according to local media reports. It has been reported that it is a three-alarm fire and firefighters are on the spot carrying out the operations.
People have started posting videos of the incident on social media where thick black smoke can be seen rising from the building. Eric Shackelford, producer of Midday Live at KGO-TV, posted the video on his Twitter account.

Shackelford posted another video on Twitter after a time-lapse and it can be seen that the intensity of the smoke has palpably increased

Oakland police have requested for traffic control on all major streets surrounding the fire. The fire is adjacent to the 23rd Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-880. People within the vicinity are advised to shut all doors and windows as the smoke is causing air quality issues in the area.
The cause of the fire is not known yet.
