Mississippi immigrant raids: Why Trump admin not charging employers? Ask angry Twitteratis

- United States
US immigration authorities on Wednesday launched a dramatic operation against immigrants "illegally" working in Mississippi and arrested 680 people at agricultural processing facilities. It was the biggest workplace immigration sweep since December 2006, when ICE targeted meatpacking plants in six states and arrested almost 1,300 people.
The "raids" have sparked anger among people who are in turn raising questions about the actions Trump administration has taken against the employers and owners of these facilities. Buzzfeed news had reported that federal authorities haven't said whether the employers will face proceedings for hiring these workers.
When 600 agents were making a show of arresting 680 undocumented immigrants working at Mississippi processing plants, did anyone bother to arrest the employers? Or did they leave them undisturbed in the back room counting their money?

Many people on Twitter claimed that President Trump's company has also been indulged in hiring migrants "illegally".
Trump called the ICE raids in Mississippi where over 600 undocumented immigrants were rounded up ‘a very good deterrent.’ The employers who illegally hired these workers were left untouched, because Trump himself is one of the employers who do that. https://t.co/7sB1D0QPK5

A worthy thread to help reflect on Mississippi ICE raids. Why aren't employers in jail, also? https://t.co/4GYUmm9iiT

There have been a few reports claiming that the companies will also be charged but a robust action is yet to be taken in this regard.
