Earthquake hits parts of Southern California; felt in Ridgecrest, nearby cities

An earthquake has hit parts of Southern California, European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake measured 3.0 on the Richter scale but no damage has been reported yet. The epicenter of the quake was located seven km east of Ridgecrest at a depth of three km.

The quake was felt in Ridgecrest as per the testimonies posted on the EMSC website. One testimony at a distance of 7 km NW from epicenter said, "Felt quick move. Had just got back in bed." while the another at a distance of 9 km NW from epicenter reported, "Woke me up."
This was the third felt earthquake in Southern California in the last 18 hours.
